Right, it's settled then. There's so much cool stuff about ED horrors and SR
and Stuff and ...

I'm going to hit one of my characters with something like this..

Weird-ass critter/spirit type thing starts hassling the players, players
underestimate Thing. Player eventually corners critter/spirit/thingy and it
turns into some REALLY UGLy mother that the players have never seen before
and says to the one/all players "Right, you bastards/bastard I've waited
9,000 years to get even with your ass for bannishing me/defending
Kaer/passing wind in direction of Horror's loved/hated one etc, and I'm not
letting you get away with it this time!"

Players now have to learn about the 4th world in order to save themselves
and humanity and ...yes, it does need some refinement, but still, what do
you guys think?

According to Shannon Buys, on Tue, 18 Jun 2002 the word on the street was...

This works best if you slowly build up to it; don't treat it like a Star Trek
episode where the big, bad monster gets confronted (and beaten) at the end of
the episode. By starting a few adventures in advance, dropping hints and
designing adventures around what's really going on, the show-down will be
much more memorable than if you use it as the monster of the week. Though we
already had the annual movie thread, I recommend you watch Lost In Space (as
I did yesterday) and learn from it :)

The alternative would be to plunge the PCs into the deep end almost
immediately, and then let them find out what happened -- and a way to solve
the mess. However, I think the other method is the easier one to pull of
right.
