Just a quick interjection for those that have ED as a the 4th age.
The orc language is not an offshoot of Dwarvish, there is a small glossary in
an ED product Denizens (along with a troll glosssary). Ujnort means non-ork
and huurlg was the drink of choice. ost of the rest is names of Passions
(gods)
Most of the current IEs were actually from either the Elven Wood or
Seareatha (most came from Seareatha if ya care:-) The Therans do not seem
represented, and they were the main slavers in ED. ALL other races had kept
orcs as slaves (including dwarves) but that was farther in the past.
In other words, I doubt the elves hate the idea of the orcs haiving a
history, as much as they hate the idea of anyone actually fidning out that
they were there. More later if ya want it.
Maybe the book tells how to become Behemoth riders?
