Is it just me, or was this particular girl recovered in the opening
chapter of "Crossroads" by Talon and the rest of Divided Assets?

In Dragon's the girls name is Aardelea. In Crossroads
it is Mary Beth Tyre. The girl is sixteen or so. How
can it possibly be the same person? Now her purpose
might be the same(the ability to help produce drakes),
but nothing in crossroads implies that.

I think that he meant the other one. The girl rescued in the beginning of
the book is indeed Mary Beth Tyre, the girl mentioned in THe Big D's will.
I vaguely remember Steve Kenson mentioning something to the effect of he
threw that chapter in there as a bridge, and more stuff would happen with
her later.
