Okay, new topic...I've got a group running around in Egypt...does anybody know what has
happened over there...what it looks like, anything special about it?

there's no info on Egypt in any of the books to my knowledge. We did
however have a long debate about it some time ago.

Erik Jameson's home page could have his ideas on it, he preferred a
realistic approach and mainly extrapolated on current history. On the
other hand I kind of liked the idea of having the Pharaohs revive and
have a human run magical empire for a change. We both wrote quite a
lot about it, plus more people participated (K in the shadows has a
wide knowledge about Egyptian mythology for example). You should be
able to find it in the archives from the last two weeks of August to
beginning of September.

Well I sent my runners to Egypt once ... I drew heavily on
inspiration from among other sources the movis Stargate. Not the tech
but the egyptology feel they had. The armours, symbols and weapons.

Another possiblity is ofcause that Egypt is glowing in the dark since
arabs struk at Israel with biowarfar and they retaliated Nuclear.

Doesn't Leonardo live somewhere around there to ? Can't remember if
they say exactly where he lives but it is around there somewhere ..

/Stefan

OMG! I had almost completely forgotten about those talks...mmmm

Now it's just a shame that Erik isn't here to help revive them... ;)

I like the design too, just don't use any of the mythological
references if your players are even halfway into it. They tend to go
along the lines of "cool name, use it!"

That was Libya. Three bombs, one on Tripoli, one on Bengazi and one
on a small town because Libya doesn't have anything big left any more
:).
Egypt should be okay, unless something else happened to it. The way
Erik and I figure it Egypt should be a major power in the region in
2050-60.
Saying that "Arabs" struck at Israel is like saying that them "White
guys" started WW II.

I thought it was Iran, but I could be wrong. I hate that guy...

BTW, your reply field is overriding that of the list.
