Funny, but sad. This poor fellow is under utilising his elementals. Unless
seriously low force, they are intellegent. Since the mage knows the parties
aura, the elemental knows the parties aura. Also, bieng dual natured, they
can read moods and intentions. Just tell them to go after anyone with violent
intentions towards you. Or at the very least, anyone with light machine guns
folowing the party. Watchers are to Dumb for this, but High force elementals
are perceptive if not creative. Putting them on allert can use up a service
if uneeded for 24 hours, but can save time in the middle of combat/ evasion.

yes very true but that one only did what it was told to and knowing
PC's picked the nasty target first. 'kill all trolls in the alley' is
not the best (and far from the worst) command i ever heard of.
I have memories of a free force nine nature spirit, every time we
hurt it it ran off (as it heals 1 box per minute out of combat - see
the rules) healed up and then sneaked back to try and break the party
up again. Real pain, eventually got it in the way of ripple (and i
mean ripple) fire manabolts and finaly got in but!

the dumbest was not spirits or in SR but if i remember right i have
know folks forget to tell spirits to report back. (watchers
therefore might just get lost)

Someone told a nature spirit to make anyone swinging a sword have an
accident, then noted he was holding one!! (ok as you say it should
have more brains than to attack its own summoner but that was not
well worded, mind you someone else dropped a thermal smoke grenade,
nice stopped the yaks with katanas neatly dicing several characters,
appart from they were standing in the middle as well so which way do
you go, now heres a target ? is it friendly., lop/shoot .... listen to
scream and hope.)

room1 room 2 room 3
PC leader rest of PC's Bad guys ('comie mutant traitors')
robot with big gun

orders PC to robot 'go through to that room and shoot all the 'comie
mutant traitors' brap, lots of dead characters, it took the targets
in room 2 as valid, oh dear....

are you sure it would think to come back, i see folks sending off
force 1 watchers and expecting it to get there and back, yes needing
a 4+ each time at intelligence 1, base time 2 hours each way and
3 hour watcher, yeah sure its comming back. :)
