I'm relatively new to this list, so I'm not sure if this has been
brought up yet, but If you read between the lines on several of the
sourcebooks, there is something major going on between Elves and Dragons,
concerning the lifespan of the Elf. 1) The SRII Novel, Never Trust An Elf,
details the plot to uncover an ancient dragon crystal by Glasgian Oakforest
(Son of The Tir Taingire Prince) and an ancient elf from Australia, called
Urdli. Urdli, Sean Laverty, and the elf decker Dodger must, chronologically,
have been elves since long before the Awakening. The events of this novel are
either hinted at or directly referred to in the Tir Taingire Sourcebook.
2) Harlequin. On the back of the book it says "Imagine a hatred that has
lasted 5,000 years" Highly Suggestive. Also, Harlequin and Ehran the Scribe
seem, from this Adventure, to be much older than elves should be.
3) Tir Taingire Sourcebook. This is FULL of hints on this subject. The most
interesting are the posts by "The Laughing Man", and "The Big 'D'", My
guesses are that The Laughing Man is Harlequin, and The Big 'D', must be a
great dragon, most likely Lofwyr. The Idea of an Ancient Elven language, and
ancient elf-magics suggests Something MAJOR is going on with elves.

I will post more of my ideas on this later, but I just wanted to open this
can of worms and ask if anyone else knows where I can get more information on
this subject.

[stuff on immortal elves etc]

Well, this is (as far as I know, I've only been here a few months) a
relatively old topic on this list. I'm sure someone out there who was in on
all the stuff would like to post a very complete summary if you only give 'em
half a chance. As for my comments, I agree, but I'm not so sure it has jack
to do with dragons except that they are just as old (some of them anyhow), and
so they know the same stuff the ancient elves do. I think the big D (or
whatever) is Dunklezhan (sp?) the dragon, rather than whats 'is name the
dragon. But its not really important anyhow.
