Ever seen what happens to an active homosexual irishman? His
family drag him away and lock him up! And thats what'd happen to
the elves. As they're born they'll be baptised/ raised christian
(which really ruins your magical powers/ mindset)

Look at Christianity, it is DEEPLY rooted in Magick(another word for it:
Mysticism). What is an exorcism? The use of Magick to kick a "evil" spirit
out of a person. Not all spirits that possess people are evil, just like
people. Some are evil, some are good; but you can never tell until you
actually "LOOK" at it. Churches as a whole are corrupt: just look at the
Inquisition. Many good people died, just because they helped others by using
Magick. Still churches look at others who use Magick as "heretics".
