This discussion about characteristics seems to be ridiculous for me. For my
understanding the new races were given those names because they were resembling
the races of the old tales not vice versa.
So the altered children looking more charismatic than usual humans just were
called elves, weren't they?
And I still don't believe in immortality of the elves andit will need a lot
more time to convince me of the opposite.
Additionally I know a lotof people who hate elves because in every role playing system
they seem to be better than others. Nobody ever discusses a fighter
being better in his skills than a normal person. So why don't we just accept,
that elves ARE BETTER !!!!
By the way - this is how racism starts - enving people for things you don't
have and hating people because they don't seem to fit to your standarts of
life. Being on a social better position as most humans, it is much easier to
accept that orcs don't have a good life when you think that's whatthey deserve
because they are less worthy.
And finally - I LOVE ELVES, and I LOVE PLAYING ELVES. (Even when they are the
most arrogant people I've ever seen.)
Cheerio
Nightdancer (guess what race..)
