I don't know what the difference between those two theories is, but I
assume that they are both beta sciences. Switching form magic to
science would be something like a sociologist in his 80's starting on
computer design (I don't want to start a 'Magic is Science'-debate,
the statement is just ment to be metaphorical).
I also assume that Ehran is one of the more technical oriented elves,
and he uses technology, but does not really approve it. Again I refer
to his speech posted some time ago to this list. So the other
Immortals are likely to be more magical oriented.
What I ment to say was that the immortal elves are more likely to
use magic rather than technology to solve a problem.

Very interesting. Has this been researched? I only know the
'psychological' background to this, so I am very interested in any
biological-data you might have.
