Remember first folks - that not all of the elves are working together
- and even the ones that are each have their own agenda. They will help the
others as long as it suits them.

The Ghost Dance is something that dates back to at least the late 19th
century. Of course, it didn't stop the white man's bullets at that time.

Well no one said that the elves helped the amerindians with the great
ghost dance. This is probably the achivement of howling coyte, elves
could have helped them with minor scale (greater quantity) of magic for
their raids/secret missions/etc. Money and guns for theyr troops and
many other ways. Dont forget that the ghost dance was blood magic and that
the shamen doing the casting died to fuell the spell, so why would the
elfs sacrifice precious mages to help the amerindians do something like that?

Just to complicate things further, what's to say that no Elves
had Amerind ancestry? If they did, they'd be much more likely to help
out their cousins....
