First of all: I have read the FAQ. I could not find the answer in it, so I
am asking the list in general.

Q: If I send a message to the listserv for shadowrn to set NOMAIL on Friday,
then send a message on Monday setting it back to MAIL again, what happens
to the mail that I was supposed to get between those two times? Does it:
a) Never get sent, meaning that I have to check the logs to find out what the
heck has happend on the list, or
b) Sit in a buffer somewhere till I send my MAI{ message on Monday, and then I
suddenly get 200+ messages that have been waiting since Friday?

Reason I am asking is because I am leaving town early Friday morning because
I am getting married this weekend. I will not be back in town and able to read
mail till sometime on Monday, and I want to know how this NOMAIL thing works.

Could some kind soul take pity on me (not about the wedding, but about this
email thing) and let me know what is up? Thanks.

If you go nomail, it is never sent. Mail resumes when you set mail. You
can achieve the same thing by signing off and back on again.

Hey, congratulatons on your wedding !! (Guffaw!Guffaw!) :) I am
reminded of the words of a very wise(cracking) man:
May fortune favour the foolish ! ;)

But seriously, may the two of you ( I take there are only going to
be two of you ) find everlasting joy, marital bliss, and no more than one
toaster among your wedding gifts !! My well-wishes to the bride a well.

Getting married on Friday and coming back on Monday ?! Yo, talk
about short honeymoons, bub ! :) Anyway, I'm afraid I can't help you here
- er, not the honeymoon, the e-mail thingamajig; I tried signing off the list
last week but I must have done something wrong 'cos I didn't get anywhere.

Rob, can you help this man ? :)
