Despite its proven stress-relieving effect, I will not indulge
in maniacal laughter. When so occupied, it's too easy to miss
unexpected developments that a more attentive individual could
adjust to accordingly.

"Praerie Fire"

AFAIK used in Vietnam, when a whole LRRP team was going to get killed and
they had valuable information. They would get unlimited air support, plus a
shitload of air cavalry trying to rescue them at that point.

Depends on the agency.
At the one I work for "Signal 63" means officer down, or in trouble. "Code
100" the same. "Code 1" means to answer call- emergency (run/ turn on
lights and sirens). And "10-33" just means "Emergency". I believed 10
codes
are pretty universal with slight varations from area to area.

So "Signal 63, Code 1" would mean "I'm in trouble, hurry your butt over
here".
