This sounds like a variation of other stories. Urban
legend in the
making.

About said members of the underground, yes, a nice
serving of salt is needed, but they described it in
rather nice detail that most of the scientific
principles worked out, it seemed feasible, etc etc, so
that's the only reason i felt justified to post it.
about the urban legend, yes i can see it now....
