I finally found (after many convoluted connections to other universities)
a way for me to access a Usenet Newsreasder. That's great. One Problem.
After wading through hundreds of FAQ's, I still have a problem finding the
answer to a relatively simple question, and I'm hoping someone can help me.
How can I post to a Usenet group?
I am using a VAX/VMS terminal conected to Usenet through Loyola Chicago,
through a lynx menuing system..... I can read other's posts, but can I post?
Is there, perhaps, a mail address I send my posts to?
If so, can someone send me the address?

Thanx.
Just My Two Pence.
The Kumquat.

(ok, ok, I'll make a fragging sig)

To post to a newsgroup, you can send email to

name.of.newsgroup-news@********.cs.yale.edu

Ex:

alt.dcom.telecom-news@********.cs.yale.edu <-- good ph newsgroup

A little more reliable is the DEC gateway -- to use that one, send
it to <name.of.newsgroup.usenet@******.dec.com>.
