Good question. I had never thought about it. This poses even more questions
about Cyberware though. For Example:

Big Jimmy (The Dwarf Street samurai) Goes into his local Shadow Clinic, he
already has enough chrome in him to build a Banshee assault vehicle, but he
decides he wants some muscle replacements.

Does a character know how much esence he/she has? Would the doc in the clinic
be able to tell if Big Jimmy had enough essence? (Would you argue with an
overly armed Dwarf, with an attitude?) Hmmmmm. Maybe someone else has some
thoughts on this matter. I really don't know that I want to venture an answer
until I here some other thoughts.
