completely heal. Things like cyberware, vicious drugs, and the like should
follow the 90% max rule. But in cases of paranormal Essence Drain, I would
argue that the loss was based on life-force rather than nerve damage and
could therefore completely heal. Yes, you can argue that Essence Drain is
such a shock to the body and spirit that it "can never be the same again" but
I think it is unfair to players. For the most part, cyberware is a chice.
Essence loss from paranormals is not (unless they don't do the mission. "

As for the efficacy of unnatural drugs on the body: Unnatural does not
mean bad or unhealthy. We can assume that some drugs and all cyberware
hurts the body to an extent, but that does not preclude the existence of
benign artificial chemicals that can help the body heal itself.
