Hi there,
in about two weeks there will be the GameCon in Essen.
All I wanna know is if anybody from the list will happen to be there?

Drek, take this to private EMail or at least stick to English (better I say
this then anyone who can't understand what you wrote; Norbert).
Just because some Kaesekoeppe (sorry, Gurth :-) hold their discussion in their
language, we don't have to follow, do we?

Effettivamente.... anche Sascha ha ragione.

(In fact, Sascha has some reason too.... :)

Hey, it's fun thinking about what all the English-only speakers think when
they read it :) Anyway, no offense taken -- I live too far south to
consider myself one of them...

Oops, Sascha. "Drek" is a four-letter word. Tsk, tsk. No need to jump
on me, hm? Self-control is sometimes considered necessary, you know.

You didn't pay attention, did you?
The FAQ mentions it's OK to use "four letter words", as you put it so nicely,
and someone else asked to use "SR-specific" swear-words to "not offend
anyone"
if I remember correctly. And I think that covers my back...
I think self control more important when answering letters, especially the
control _not_ to use a language only few listmembers understand (be it
"Hollaendisch" (hi, Gurth - now upset? :-) It's Dutch, for the rest of you) or
German. And i don't think I jumped on you... i barely hobbed... .-)

I half agree. Since I am an aspiring Linguist, I enjoy it on the rare
occassions when a foreign language gets posted. I don't often get to see
other languages in everyday use. However, since most people don't have as
many language dictionaries as I do, translating is a real load of drek.

Perhaps if something is posted in another language, a summary in English
could be included? (Hey! We could miss something!)

And to keep it somewhat on topic, what are some translations for the
terms used in shadowrun, or does the English/Japanese prevail?

Gotta run, my archery ride is here! :)

Which ones do you mean? Maybe I can help you out!
