Don't take this wrong, but that attitude is exactly why RPG's aren't
gaining acceptance any faster.
If you take the notion that gamers are an oppressed minority, then it just
makes sense to take a page from history and use the same tactics Martin
Luther King Jr. used - if they would look down on us and accuse us of evil,
then we must be beyond reproach.

Now I'm not saying we need to be goody-goody straits with no sense of
humor, but people who would accuse RPG's of being evil really aren't going
to grasp the humor in threatening to carve a hex in their forheads. (And
yes, I did assume you were joking, :-))

There's way to many people ready with a smart-ass answer for critics, but
far too few ready to logically and intelligently defend their hobby.

Just my 3 cents ... inflation doncha know!

Good pick there. I don't have to deal with that attitude as an
entrenched system, so anyone doing that to me here would REALLY piss me
off. At the least I'd call him/her a bigot to their face.

Gotta go; I'm off to go sacrifice goats by moonlight!
