I just started the novel "Just Compensation" by Robert Charrette. So
far so good, but something I just read raised a question. Here is a
quote from pg. 44:
"The people who debarked were a wild mix of heights, weights, and
builds, but almost all were norms. Tom only saw three elves, and a
dwarf; no goblin metatypes, or exotics."

Can anyone tell me what exotic metatypes are? Never heard of them.

Not exotic metatypes, exotics, multi racial, awakened, magically aware,
oriental. Exotics.

You can have exotic metatypes, as in Japanese elf, etc. but I don't
think this is what he was implying in the book, specifically non-
mundanes, hence the comment, "almost all were norms". :)

Things like Sasquathches(sp?) and the like. Though, they aren't actually
Metahumans. I guess maybe Ghouls?

Does bring up a similar question. In the sourcebooks, when they give the
population vitals the always list the percentages as: Human xx%, Elf xx%,
Dwarf, xx%, Ork xx%, Troll xx%, Other xx%.

What the frag is included in the Other besides sasquatch, and the
occasional Free Spirit or Dragon that they can identify? Enquiring minds
would like to know...

Have you got a *thing* for Bugs Steve, I mean there is this ongoing
mentioning from you in nearly every post about Bugs. I keep trying to
tell you, they *aren't* the real threat, they are merely a powerful
distraction from the true threat to mankind, and no it's not *really*
the horrors either. :)

Please, please contact my friend at Aztechnology (Prof. Jose) he
*really* can help :) :) :)

Sasquatch's
Wendigo, vampire, banshee, kobold, dooz-na-qa, nosforatu, etc.
Ghouls : probably the majority
free spirits and dragons etc.
sprite (windling in ED)
Zombies.

Note it is possible to goblinize into a Ghoul,
i'm not so sure about sasquatch

There are probably more.
Ogre and minatour might also be in this rather than the orc/troll
listings at least in the USA as they are not common there.
