True, and that's partly what I think as well. However, the problem with all
the planning is that I noticed players yawning, and one told me after the
game that this was because of the boredom. As a GM, I don't have a problem
with the players working out their plans in detail, but I also don't want
some of the players to sit around being bored -- but I can't think of a
way to make this stuff interesting, and I also can't go interrupting every
planning session with something "important" or immediate...
