Isn't that an idea? "Ok, You shoot at him, but he steps backwards and is
now out of range. The bullet stops dead in the air and lands at his feet."

I'm gonna fall back to paintball with this one. Anyone who play's
paintball will tell you all the FUN of weapon ranges. (Like staying a foot
out of your opponent's range, and stepping out of the way of incoming
rounds...) To avoid the "paintball isn't war" people, I'd like to tell you
that in a real firefight, you don't load your opponent's ammo into your gun
and return it back to him. I've done it, and nailed the guy clean in the
goggles....

As a GM, I've never had to fall back to the 'extreme range' of a weapon.
But I suppose that you could say that a target is harder to hit beyond
chart ranges (Use common sense here...) and the actual round does less
damage when it DOES hit. Without the books here (does ANYONE have the
books with them as they call here?) I'll write a quick idea.

Bob the Samurai unloads on the lead biker of the "Libras".
The rider is off of extreme range by fifty meters. So the GM puts a +3
modifier (again, forgive me, I have no books with me to fall back on)
Bob's gun normally does 9M damage (I think). Due to it's range, the round
now does 7M.

What do you think, sirs?
