In the opening story in the original SR rulebook (for those of you who
still have it), Sally Tsung closes her eyes when she astrally checks the
area around the terminal Dodger is about to use. If I remember correctly,
the SR rules also state that astral perception is separate from other
senses (don't know for sure, though, I don't have the rulebook here with
me).
