This reminds me of a player of mine many years ago. The team she was with
at the time were a bunch of, well, suspect individuals. (The magician's
initiate circle was playing around with blood magic, the team demolitions
expert got regular calls from Lone Star demanding he turn himself in or they
would shoot to kill, and so on.) Anyway, her character had a good
relationship with her cyberclinic. She got them to grow her a good (not too
forced so it looked more or less normal) clone body, and keep it in a vat
until she needed to "die". When the time came, the clone body would, say,
"fall" off a 50 story building, crash in a remote piloted dynamit, or die
some other death resulting in much bodily damage. Upon investigation, the
corpse would have her DNA, and thus she would be listed as officially dead.
It was a cunning plan (until she died some other way before getting to use
it).
