I have no idea what the rules are on this, but here's an observation by an
occasional martial artist. I read books on the martial arts to get
different perspectives and ideas. I have a few by Bruce Lee, a few on the
theories behind Ninjitsu, etc. While the only way to improve as a martial
artist is to do, understanding is how you know what to improve. And the
books help with that. And while I don't write the books, other martial
artists do. I can imagine adepts writing books for other adepts.

As for a lodge for an shamanic adept, I can imagine an adept building one
to help him focus and train, but the lodge would not be imbued with
shamanic power since the adept focuses power somatically not externally.

Heh, evil thought - Late night vid ads for "work out like the adepts"
programs, "build your own shamanic lodge"....
