Its a plot started in Portfolio of a Dragon and continued in Cyberpirates.
Basically Dunkie left a years supply of talon clippings (IIRC) worth a few
million to the Head Houngan of the Carib League. Problem is, there is no
head leader, so the various Voodoo factions are fighting to claim the
prize.

Not really. Well, sort of. It began when Dunk left a years
worth of clippings to head honcho of the Carrib voodoos.
Problem is there is no recognized head. The magical war
over this is getting pretty nasty (depending how evil the
GM is feeling). My group is discovering that the truly poor
are just as devious, if not more so, than any exec. They
are quickly becoming favored pawns of two opposing groups
of voodoos.

By the way, hi. I suppose I could be called new to the list
(last time I was subscribed was 1992). I generally lurk,
but sometimes chime in. See ya.

and at 100,000¥ per clipping, Cyberpirates said that it added up to about 36.5
million¥. enough to buy a couple islands (if i recall the post in CP
correctly.)
