FASA INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES SEEKS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

FASA Interactive Technologies, the new interactive/multimedia/CD-ROM
design and development company recently launched by FASA Corporation,
publishers of BattleTech, Shadowrun, and Earthdawn, is seeking a Technical
Director.

This Technical Director will be responsible for supervising the
development of entertainment, simulation software for the next generation
of computers and game systems. Initially, this individual will be
responsible for managing up to twenty software engineers to create a
real-time, three-dimensional vehicle combat simulation product based on
FASA's BattleTech game. The TD will establish design and technical
specifications for all entertainment product developed by FASA Interactive
Technologies (including future BattleTech, Shadowrun, Earthdawn, and other
designs).

SKILLS REQUIRED:
*BS Electrical Engineering, with emphasis in software development
*5 years programming experience in real-time software applications
*3 years experience in the management of a technical staff of 10 or more.
*5 years of real-time application design experience.
*A thorough knowledge of "C" and assembly language programming
*3D simulation software development experience
*Solid people skills

Additional Skills Preferred:

*Masters Degree in EE or Computer Science
*Consumer entertainment software or coin-op games development experience
*Software and Hardware Tool development experience
*Object Oriented programming experience
*Creative, innovative personality.
