What would all of your opinions be on the fat bacteria introduced in
Corporate Security as pertaining to the gas version and the FAB net/Net
gun. Referring to an astral form supoorting a net that is essentially
alive, does it push the target down or hold the target, and what if the
floor had a bacteria grid?

What is your opinions on fat bacteria.
How would you work it when a gaseous cloud of the bacteria was sprayed
in a room with an astral body there.
What would happen if a Fat Bacteria Net was dropped on an astral body,
and then what if the floor was lined with bacteria..

I've replied to Dave personally (didn't notice that his reply-to field was
set to his address until after I had hit the send key).

In short: FAB can affect an astral form, but an astral form cannot
affect FAB.

Splitting this will allow answering easier ... The FAB net IMHO would drag the
person down to the floor, as in theory an astrally projecting individual
weighs almost nothing ...

> and what if the floor had a bacteria grid?

Would mean that escape would also be impossible from a FAB net ... this is a
good idea ... corp spends all sorts of money putting FAB into the walls and in
nets, and forgets to do something to the internal walls and such ...

Have a Merry Christmas,

Mike

"Minus two degrees," the thermometer said.

"Shut up."

"What do you think?"

"It looks like it's trapped somehow. See? If you set your foot on that
stone, you push it down and some kind of trap gets sprung. My guess is
something falls from that panel in the ceiling."

"Let's open it."

"The cold must be affecting your brain... We might set it off and get
sealed in here forever!"

"You're right. I'll take a look on the astral, see if I can get through
the panel and find out what's behind it."

A few seconds passed. "It's a trap alright, but a really weird one.
There's a net up there that glows with life. I tried sticking my hand
through it but it wouldn't budge. I say look it up in the computer."

"Good idea... What keywords?"

"Microorganisms of some kind, I think. Try looking for 'astrally active
bacteria'."

"Two matches found," the computer's voice announced.

"Great, pull them up."

"Hey, these contradict themselves. Who wrote them?"

"They're both by the same guy, a certain 'FASA Mike'. In one he says it's
astrally active, in the other he denies it. Still, maybe we can learn
something from them. I guess we have to thank this GRANITE guy for
reposting them so recently..."

"From the rest of those logs you have there, I'd say it isn't a popular
topic among the people who wrote all that gibberish. Does it say how we
can avoid it?"

"Not that I've found. Maybe we should just press on. I'll lead the way
if you're still scared of the trap. We've found the trigger, haven't we?"

TTTT H W W AA PPPPPP !!
T H W W A A P P !!
T HHH W W W A A PPPP !!
T H H WWWW AAAAA P
T H H W W A A P !!

"Ogodogodogodogodogodogodogod..."

"How could you fail to see that?! It MUST have been in the trap too,
clearly visible on the astral, no?!!"

"It's life that matters on the astral, you know! Dead carps aren't
alive!!"

"But that stench! I mean, that should have tipped anyone off!"

"Let's just get on and get the treasure out, shall we? I need that
Johnson's payment."

"Why? You've already got a load of fish, and although I'm not a
connoisseur, I don't think that goes well with chocolate..."

"Shut up."

Just a bit... I'd light a match, but I think the fumes given off by 1000
uyear old carp are explosive, aren;t they...

Say, Spikey... They didn;t by chance give you a flashlight when you were
in the military doing training stuff, did they? If so, turn it on and lets
see who's here...:]

Note: We need to get Gurth to make a little more room in here. And
install some lights, and maybe a mini-fridge and a bar. :]
