I do recall the Z-IC connection in the London Sourcebook to doing something
just like this. A "Milk Scare" for lack of better terms.
I would imagine that conflicts of different kinds arise from Corporate Drug
Testing vs. Governmental Drug Testing. In some ways, this would be a good
set, and I do mean set, of runner-type operations. In this case, the
information of "passable" drugs would have to be inserted in the appropriate
FDA-related computer banks, allowing for "Drug X; the latest super-vitamin"
to hit the streets. In fact, another run, more Matrix-oriented IMO, would be
to have a decker or group of deckers/operators attempt to find the FDA
"Suprise Check" testing times aquired from a given database. This
information would allow for a corporation to "guarantee" the samples of
"Drug
X" would be passable.
Additionally, now that I think about this, *some* Drug Testing might run into
something a bit more impressive. I can only imagine what the "VITAS Testing
Labs" are like personally, for instance.
