nope - like some one else said - he didn't pay the essence. His 'EYES' aren't
looking at it - he is looking at a reformed image of it. Like when you look at
the sun by reflecting it onto white paper - you are not looking at it but rather
an image of it. If you looked at the sun by reflecting the image to your 'EYE'
you would be then looking at the sun - and soon be blinded.
(unless of course you have flash comp or you are my friend Ian who can
look at the sun and complain about it being to dark!!!!!)

Nope - the spell takes the shortest route through ASTRAL to get to you - so it
through the astral wall and into the person. Now if you were looking around say
a tree - the spell would go into ASTRAL and hit the tree - becoming effectively
blocked (living auras stop astral beings).

nope to the second part also - NO SPELL CAN USE ELECTRONICS. Further more it
is not controlling manipulations that are screwy - it is Damaging manipulations.
Control manipulations go right to the person just like a combat spell.
Damaging manipulations go right to the mirror and break it. Then the person
around the corner, noticing the shattered mirror, throws a grenade down your
hallway.
