I'm interested, FileMaker is my profession. I manage the QA team which is
responsible for the network testing of all of the FileMaker products.
I've used FM to create character generators for AD&D and I think that
character databases are a perfect application for it. I plan on building a
very complex set of relational databases for generating and tracking
Shadowrun characters as part of my testing of the next version of FileMaker
("And I get paid for doing this...").
Oh, and the templates described above should be cross-platform. FileMaker
Windows uses the same files as the Mac. All it would require is a little
tweaking for font and printer margin differences.
Sorry for the crass commercialism, but I love my job.
