First, a question: For ammo types that change AP, does their modifier add to the weapon's
AP or replace it? I would have thought it would add to it (a high-powered rifle doesn't
become less high-powered just because it's firing flechettes), but based on the weapons
that are flechette-only and have their stats modified already it looks like it replaces it
(it's hard to be totally sure, but when comparing to other weapons of the same class
that's what it seems like).
And what is with 'Stick-n-Shock' ammo? Are they trying to recapture the
absurdly-overpowered-and-completely-unjustified award from SR3's AV rounds? Tasers are
powerful, but they at least have some serious limitations--namely limited range and small
ammo capacity--that make sense given that taser darts are large, relatively low-velocity
projectiles. Now all of the sudden any gun can fire normal sized rounds that are just as
effective as a taser without any of the limitations. Makes one wonder why anyone would
ever use a taser.
Oh well, I had more to say but that's enough for now...
