Stepping back for a moment, it seems this whole discussion over
the validity of light pistols in the games, has blossomed into a full
grown discourse over everything from the use of heavy weapons in play,
redesigning the combat system, game lethality, roleplaying of NPCs,
how to equip said NPCs, kamizazi civilian killers, and going to the
Qwiky Mart loaded for bear. I admit to a certain responsibility for
this, and I just wanted to clear it up for the benefit of those just
joining the conversation. Now ,in the immortal words of Monty Python,
'GET ON WITH IT!!!'.

Great, another attachment to delete from my hard drive. Personally, I'd
swap the grounding debate AND the FAB discussion for relief from people
stinking files on my hard drive against my will. Is there a way to set
up Eudora to filter messages for attachments before they get dumped on
my drive? Thanks. Terry

What's in the attachment? WebTV apparantly can't use the information

I wouldn't worry about it....
It's a crappy auto-attachment from one of our friendly neighbourhood
Microsoft products.

Why don't you check out Hotmail?

in it from a friend who uses Hotmail) and is fairly reliable..

In response to Spike's helpful posts about those trippy attachments:

Ah, Microsoft. It makes more sense now. After consulting my underground
sources who infiltrated Microsoft R&D, I finally figured them out.
They're the next step in the "Windows to the Soul" project (shortened to
"Windows" for easier marketing) I mentioned before. The file inserts
subliminal mesages into your desktop causing gradual acceptance of
Microsoft as an entity of worship. It's geared towards those of us
who've outsmarted their previous attempts while using Linux or other
superior OS's by getting us through our mailers. Be very wary!

We have reason to believe your sources have been turned by Bill
Gates.. you must cut off all contact with them and carry out your

Usually it's the same thing int the attachment that is already in the
body of the mail. Only with a different taste. Only with the right
mail-reader.

You better be disgusted with these f**chink mailers that mean they can
do mail better than every other mailer.

With attachments on the receivers side it should be the reverse
