Depends... Nylon is not really known for not burning, still many body
armors were made of nylon before kevlar became available; a lot of load
carrying equipment (web gear) is also nylon. US Army combat clothing is
made of a 50/50 nylon/cotton mixture to delay burning (which incidentally
makes it hot to wear on warm days), but I'd hate to think what would
happen when it does start to burn...

What really matters here is whether you expect it to get in a situation
where it might start to burn, I think.
