Never fear. As long as I'm on the list you'll always have someone to flame :)

I realise that this has nothing to do with shadowrun, but It would really
interest me to find out what it is that you think you are getting out of a
flamewar.

I've been asked if vi was an easy editor to learn, whether it was intuitive
or not. My general response to this question is: "Yes, some of us think so.
But most people think that we are crazy."

A flamewar is not the goal, just a byproduct of (1)underdeveloped social
skills and (2) an interest in 'controversial' topics. For the most part
'rules interpretation' threads don't interest me, particularly after you
seen the same thread several times - how many times can you maintain
interest in a vampire/cyberware discussion? I'm much more interested in
issues of 'gaming style' for lack of a better term. This stuff tends to be
more personal in nature and people [naturally] take it personally. If you
couple this with my tendency to be tactless, it generates heat. I'm trying
for LIGHT not heat but that's the way it goes...

I'm still interested in stylistic topics and I get more tactless [not less]
as time goes on so I was merely pointing out that I'll undoubtedly provide
targets for flames. As long as I get a couple of thought-provoking
responses, I can live with the posts pointing out that, in the opinion of
the author, I'm a knownothing dickweed. Terry
