drain an Essence 7 dragon would take to sustain the attack (I said 5D when
it would only be 5S), granted this makes the attack even nastier. It also
makes my point on them not needing to throw hellblasts even better. ;o)
Actually my post here is to ask a question. How do you other GM's handle
the drain for a critter sustaining a flame projection attack? The book s
don't really say if this is a one-time test or not, they just say to resist
drain as a mage.
Do they just roll drain once and then sustain as long as they feel like, as
would a mage would with a sustainable spell?
Does the critter resist drain each action or turn they sustain the attack?
What I've been doing is having the critter resist drain once and then it
may sustain flame projection a number of actions equal to its
Essence/Force. Then it must attack again and roll another drain reistance
test if it so chooses.
I'm just looking for comments.
