Heh. Actually, I believe the statement you quoted is related to physically
interacting with objects (i.e. touching them) while astrally projecting (at
least that's what it sounds like). You could cast spells at physical
objects while astrally perceiving just fine in SR2. Oh well, no biggie.

Yes, if you are talking about a non-blindfolded/magehooded guy who is
astrally perceiving. But if he has no use of his eyes, then he is only
'seeing' in the astral plane, and therefore has not the LOS to affect the
physical world.

And the rule is for astrally projecting, I admit, but it does say that you
cannot cast spells at the physical world w/o an astrally active link. But I
was using it because of the blind/hood/blindfold/flashpak (remember the
original post?) would have taken out your physical eyes.
