Did Flashlife move from kpc.com? I thought that's where it had moved to
last year. Or maybe I'm even more out of touch than I thought. See what
happens when you're using last year's mental manuals? :) I ain't no decker
no mo' but I thought Flashlife was at kpc still, wherever the hell THAT
is....

I though flashlife died about a year ago or so and was replaced by this
listserver?

So, what DID happen to FLASHLIFE? It was via this that I actually found this
list (gods.... what a long time ago:^) WHERE IS IT? How can I subscribe to it?
Where are the back issues? And all that other good stuff./

Whomever posted the link to a chart that was on Flashlife, I want to thank
you! In my pitiful search for my origins on the net, I've been trying to
remember the list that I was on about Shadowrun. I've finally proved to
myself when and where it was. Flashlife! In particular, I always remembered
a post that had a description of the book "Shamanism", and a bibliography of
sorts about 'real-life' shamanism. (Here's a link for anyone interested).

ftp://thor.flashpt.com/pub/srun/Flashlife/Volume3/3-02.txt

I didn't stay on the list for long, because the digest format of it
frustrated me, and I never found the time to look through all the posts.
(That and the fact that I was still pretty sketchy on how to reply to the
messages...boy have things changed).

Anyway, I was wondering who else remembers Flashlife? Was it generally good?
Did it last long?

After looking at the link above, I was kinda surprised to see the London
Sourcebook mentioned. I didn't recall it having been released within the
first couple of years of SR's existence. Hee...looks like RBB had just
recently been released. Not long until SR2 for these folks! (I now consider
new editions of RBB to be the Prophets Of The New Edition).

You're welcome.

I think it ran for a couple years. I remember trying to get into it, but I
didn't like the digest form of it either. rec.games.frp.cyber seemed much
simpler to me (still does).
