Russian heads of state got a scare today when a well known Russian
mystery author, Alexi Boitsev, broke into the Kremlin raving like a
madman. Witness reports claim that Boitsev, who was thought to be
investigating the 80 year-old Vepskaya Heights Bog mystery was raving
about a hidden city of stone and calling "doom and destruction" upon
everyone he met before attempting to kill them. One witness reports
hearing the gunman saying, "better this way". The author was eventually
subdued with chemicals and taken into custody for interrogation.
Russian security forces can't explain how the heavily armed writer made
it so deep into the ultra-secure building, but they have repeatedly
sworn that the weak link will be identified and eliminated. All
requests to interview the author have been denied.
