I have read in the book (SR2 and Grim. 2) that a foci has a "link" with a
magician, so that if I drop my foci they can use it to get me (follow the
arrow!).

I say, does it work backwards? If I lose my foci, can I follow the thread
and find it?
(It means logical to me but, hey, since I'm not perfect maybe I'm
forgettin' sumthin').

Bye!

There's actually an "encounter" based on this idea somewhere in Sprawl Sites
-- a "friendly magician" falls asleep in a park, and wakes up with all his
valuables missing, including his foci. The text mentions that he could
simply go into astral space and follow the threads to his foci, but he's
afraid of astral space...

You can trace the link via astral space. But, of course, you'll have to
venture there physically to actually retrieve it. Or maybe have an
elemental do the work.

Yes... it's an application of the Astral tracking skill.

Real Programmers never work 9 to 5. If any real programmers
are around at 9 am, it's because they were up all night.
