Just wondering, was anybody as disappointed as I because SR3 didn't bring
back the good old fasioned food fight senario? Seriously, now we've go
another generation of new SR gamers that will never get to have
"something red and chunky" splatter all over their character.

Great news,

Mike Mulvihill indicated at one of the seminars that the tenatively
titled product "First Run" would contain the food fight scenario.

First Run is going to be a book for beginning GM's and players. In
addition to the above, it will contain another introductory adventure
(albeit a longer one) plus material to help new GM's design
adventures and campaigns, and aids for new players in how to
roleplay.

You did it wrong...

You just got splattered with something <roll....> Red
and...<roll...> chunky! Eww!!

I used that chart in another scenario last campaign I
ran. Much fun.

I though it supposed to be called "Milk Run" or am I thinking of something
else?

No, that's the one. As I said, tenatively titled. It's changed a few
times. :)

I still run that senario whenever I get a batch of new players. I figure
it's a pretty easy way to introduce them to the combat system. My old
players still love it, even though one has done it five times now.

Not really, as I found Food Fight good for teaching mechanics and bad for
encouraging roleplay. But, just keep your eyes peeled for Milk Run.

I thought he was referring to "Stuffer Shack" from the end of SR1.

My gaming mail order catalogue has this product listed as
"First Run". It says it will contain two separate adventures
specifically designed with the needs of new players and GM's
in mind but is also usable by advanced players.

I'm also one of the multitudes that wished that "Running Short"
was released as well.
