I expect that you aren't required to give the same fingerprint always
for an ID-- you could have one keyed to your right thumb and one to
your left, for instance. Of course, if they get a full set of prints,
they might turn up all your ID's that way, and if you get arrested
they'll probably run matches on all your prints...

In my campaign, the amount of processing required to look up a print
is such that it's impractical to correlate all prints on file with
all other fingerprints on file to look for matches, so federal computers
with idle CPU cycles don't sit there grinding away hunting for different
ID's with the same prints...
