We've got a free nature spoirit hanging around (prarie, I think).
It has possesion, and the possesed npc is not happy- he is also a mage.
What effect would this have on the spirits actions? could it cast spells?
project?
Also, are its spirit powers (as a nature spirit) still restricted to its
oroginal domainn (not the place, but the kind)?

difficult to say, are you the GM, cause thats who's descision it's
likely to be.

Well it can in its own right if it knows any. Doubtfull it can use
the mages spells unless it can manage control thoughts on the mage,
but it would probably have to let him do it so not 100% effective.

Likely to make the no longer posesed mage very happy.

depends completely on a few vital things.
If it was a great form spirit it has no restrictions most likely.
If it has a personal domain it will be better inside that.
It its not Great form it might only really be effective in the right
terrain type but i would only hope not assume that.

This is all rather GM discretion, go read GR2 on spirits, esp great
form and free and work out just how much drek you can get in, after
all 'astral gateway' does not have a resistance roll <evil grin>.

We
ll, actually, it is a friedly- after all, we are the ones who freed it, and
our mage bumped its spirit energy up nicely.
The spirit is usually passed to whover's caracter is unconcious or otherwise
inactive.

Well, we're playing it can- after all p[ossesion gives "all kowledge and
skills of the possesed caracter" or somesuch.

yeah, so we figured, altough it also apears it would make him very unconcious.

I'ts a regular prarie variety spirit with no powers besides possesion and its
native abilities. Maybe, given time, it could figure out how to extend them
(after all, it can now cross doamain lines, which has got to be wierd yet
informative).
All in all, he's a fungi, and not so powerful or medelsom as to affect gamplay
overmuch, but the rules in the grimoire were less than complete.
