I've been amused in the past by some of the different changes to "And So It
Came To Pass..." in the various editions of Shadowrun, that are made to
reflect current world conditions.

This was news to me (as a midwestern American), but some others may be more
informed than I. Anyway, the creation of "Nunavut" from a portion of the
Northwest Territories of Canada seems to be a significant event. (Happening
in April, 1999)

From what I can tell, this region will be an entirely native american
(Inuit) governed territory.

The seminal NAN!

It continually amazes me, the way games and general science fiction
seem to emulate what is to come. There have been more than 1 role
play game maker that has had his computer taken by the FBI, and all
the designers seem to use is their imagination, and a little
intuition.

I heard a few months ago, about a thing called the MAI, it has
something to do with big corp's joining together to basically bully
governments into doing what they say, if anyone has some info on it i
would be grateful. I guess we can post it here since it is kinda
shadowrun related :>

Hmm, I've got a map that's had Nunavut on it for years. It's a really
ancient and worn map, no idea how old it is. Maybe now it's just going to
be "official" or something.
Hehe. They'll be wantin to expand before you know it!
