In s-beat, they talk about the "Waxworks", and being able to get the
"beat"
(probably the base melody, sans words) of the current pop tunes. They also
imply (they might say; I don't remember) that all this stuff is done without
human intervention/expertise... they just let the 'works pump it out.
]No computer, at least not in Srun, is going to be capable creating all the
]complex variations in music that a human being can make.
True...I'm thinking about the music in 9/8 time that I so love, and the fact
that whilst a computer could probably perform it, creating it (and making it
sound good) might be a whole other matter.
]9ths and 13ths (don't try this at home, kids). Real Creativity will remain the
]exclusive province of Humaniti for some time to come.
