Nyah, the computers probably do it without asking :-)
I mean, Word underlines and has autocorrect now, pretty soon, it'll know
what you're typing before you do.
Add in datajacks and perhaps thought to text software, and people
probably can't spell, but the letters floating around are also better
written than ever before :-)

StarOffice tries to complete almost every word you type (like the way
Internet Explorer completes URLs), which is utterly annoying because it
almost never comes up with the word you're actually after, and when it
does, you hit the wrong key and erase it...

All of which is represented in SR by giving characters R/W skills for
languages at half the level of the language itself.
