** OWLCON '01 **
January 19th-21st, 2001
Houston, TX

A Rice University tradition, this year's OwlCon will be bigger and better than ever! This
convention will focus on gaming, science fiction, fantasy, and anime. We will have gaming,
video rooms, and a dealer's room. Gaming will focus primarily on role-playing games,
miniatures, LARPs, and card games. We are planning to have 7th Sea, AD&D, Call of
Cthulhu LARP, Champions, D&D 3rd edition, GURPS, Ogre Miniatures, Paranoia, Shadowrun,
Warhammer, Werewolf, Vampire, a World of Darkness LARP, and many more. There will also be
a playtest/demo of White Wolf's newest game Adventure! as well as other new and unusual
games.

There are three SR3 games plus a Virtual Seattle game being run at the convention.

Being in Australia I couldn't say about Colorado but
my good mate and expatriate Aussie Steve Wales could
tell you. He runs a convention in Denver and has a
good idea about the Colorado convention scene. E-mail

there if any list members in the area care to hunt me down. I'll be in the 1999 ShadowRN
