Does anyone have any rules for gauss weapons in SR? I was reading through
the GURPS Ultra-Tech books, and saw the tech level they use for the basic
gauss weapons is the same for some lasers, and seeing as lasers exist in SR,
they might be plausible in the SR world, too.

I was reading the write-up on the Spetsdod weapons in the NERPS? NAGEE? I
forget which, but I'm looking at researching and building something along
those lines for one of my characters, and I was trying to determine what the
best kind of propellant would be for the darts they fire. The gauss
needlers and similar weapons from GURPS are fairly similar to the Spetsdod,
so I thought perhaps I'd have my character learn about guauss weapons,
develop the B/R skill (or get a skillsoft) and work on building some.

Anyway, suggestions or house rules would be appreciated.

Check the Aztlan sourcebook. There's a rail gun listed among the gear.
