Ok, since there is *some* interest in thsi idea at least (Yay! no one said
"No way, it'll suck! :)...

We'll keep the actual game ideas open for now and off list, since most of
us will play in it at some point... If we go through with this and feel
the need to actually organize the game somewhat among the various GMs, we
can do that privately or snag another list :]

That said, I'll give my really vague idea that I had when this whole
concept came to me (I was working at the time... I really hate it when
Ideas hit me then :)) :]

Real loosely, for whatever reason (Maybe it's Harlequin 3, maybe it's all
VR (Virtual Reality, not the SR book :)), or whatever) but basically it's a
big, goofy, epic game where anything and everything can happen. Players
pop in and out (The characters are summoned as needed or wanted by
whoever), the story shifts minor plots as the GMs change, stuff like
that. But there is an overall plot that the GMs agree on (A loose plot,
probably managed overall by whoever will Start and Finish the game). The
game is "unoffical" of course (Meaning that it is not allowed to have a
Permanent Impact on the Characters... IOW, you can;t get some big bad item
and take it to your home game, or your character doesn;t REALLY die if it
does in this game... unless you choose that as a player, and/or your GM
agrees to allow whatever you bring back from the game :))

The individual GMs can run sub-plots, or even Non-Involved Plots, that work
within the Overall Main Plot.

This will make for a really random, chaotic, hard to manage game,
granted... But it also gives us license to get stupid, to some extent (As
far as plot goes, as GMs... Not for the players tobe stupid and goofy and
not take the game at least somewhat seriously :)). And as was mentioned,
it gives us a Permanent spot for the weekend. Which is a major plus :]

Now, one problem is this: Will we have enough people to man the table all
weekend? Obviously, this will only go overnight if some of us are really
that stupid :] but by the same token, it's a LOT of hours to fill, and we
almost have to have at least one person at the table most of the time

Also, keep in mind that if we do this officially, it means we'll have a
place in tehn reg book... Which leaves it open to non-List and Channel
members... Not really a rpoblem, honestly, as it lets us meet other
Shadowrun players, and might make for good advertisement for the Online
Shadowrun Community.

Signing up for it is cake. Hit http://www.andonunlimited.com and check out
their reg info. We can do this, though we'll need to get semi-specific
about it. It also means that GMs involved may be able to get their badges
refunded, at least partially... Another bonus :]

Umm, that's really it from me :] if this does go ahead, I'll volunteer web
space for info about it, if we want to post it... But I'll probably be
only peripherally involved in it, as I'm pretty busy at the cons as it is.

Aything i missed? :]

Not really, and I only cloned in the parts of this post that would make sense
to keep for this much. Bull, if you and perhaps the people who are
interested in taking over the table, were to provide space on their web page,
this is all fine. I know that we can also have "character registration"
forms of players if the group agrees to as a whole, or at the very least,
people who would be interested in this kind of thing.

On catch, do we want/require this thing to have a limited number of players
or restrict to "members of ShadowRN" or what??? I really think we need to
know this kind of information for the registration form. Don't quote me, but
we do.

And yes, I guess I'm volunteering some of my time as a GM for this effort, as
well as some webspace (mirror space for example) for the event as a whole.
