I know that Granite is the official keeper of this list, but I just thought
I'd repost it and throw out a few ideas about a list get together.

The list:

> With the current additions or deletions Here are who is interested..
> FASAMike [If there are enough hours in the day]
> GRANITE
> Mike Broadwater
> Bull
> The Bookworm
> Gossamer
> Mike Paff

> Nick Van
> Czar Eggbert
> Paolo & Armanda (his gf)
> Loki

> The Kumquat aka Josh Brown
> Buck (Mike Buckalew)

The ideas:

Well, according to my schedule, Thursday at 2:00 p.m. (slot 2b) is the
"What's Up with FASA?" seminar. I plan on being there, and I'm sure others
are as well. Hopefully, some of us well be able to meet&greet there.
(Bull should be easy to find, just look for the guy asking Mike Mulvihill
for the photocopt of RBB2 <g>. 'Course, I'll be the guy going "yeah, let's
see"). Anyway...Thursday night is "A Drive through the Country", which I'm
hoping to get into using a generic ticket (please oh please oh please) so
lots of us should be there then for that. By then, most of us should have
been able to meet the other list members, but if not, Friday at 10:00 a.m.
is the "Secrets of Shadowrun" seminar. If you don't make this, there's
something wrong with you. And last, but not least, if you _still_ haven't
met any list members at one of these events, or bumped into them at the
booth, or somewhere, then there's always the "Shadowrun Q&A" at 12:00 p.m.
on Sunday. Hopefully, somewhere, in all those events, everyone will have
the chance to meet everyone else.

But wait, what about a non-gaming, non-Sr specific meeting? Well, sounds
like people want to go to the Safehouse. The Safehouse, if you have heard
of it, is a theme bar. It's based of Casablanca, and, to qoute Agent K.,
"It's like that, only without the Nazi's". When should we meet? I don't
know. I'm getting to Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon, but would prefer to
try and meet on a different night (I'd like to know who I'm going drinking
with before I try and find them at a crowded bar.) Anyway...I think we'll
all be busy Thus. night with the Big Game(tm), so how about Friday? IMO,
Friday is the best day to try to meet. We'll have met, it's in the middle
of the con, i'm free, er...
Well, hopefully, all going will have a chance to see this before they take
off, and respond with their info. I'll be setting nomail at about 4:30
central time (GMT -600) so if anyone want's to get me after that time (not
that I think I should be in charge, I'm just volunteering to try and
organize this (it's like herding cats)) e-mail me at rasputin@***.net

Well, after that long, mostly pointless for more than half the list, post.
Any comments?

Oh, and to those listmembers unable to make it (Fro, MC23, David, Spike,
and Gurth spring to my mind immediately, but I mean you all), I'm sorry
that you won't be able to make it, and I hope to have the opportunity to
meet you sometime in the near future.

I've given up being jealous - I've started putting away all my spare
cash to save up for a plane ticket for next year. I'll be there next
year, dammit, if I have to KILL someone! :)

Heh. For the first time since I started roleplaying 11 years ago, I actually
have a reason to go. And unlike Bull, if I see a rubber fish, I WILL buy it!

Here's to next year, hopefully with a car to drive there!
