Does this also include from 0-2 magic point of loss, or from 2 and up?

It is from 2 on up. As per the Grimoire, pg 52 '...loses 2 FULL points of
his magic attribute, he must chose a geas" (Emphasis mine)

Every two _full_ points you lose -- so if you take, for example, boosted
reflexes and nothing else, you're fine. Should you then lose a Magic point
due to a Deadly wound, you've got to take a geas because you've now lost 2
points: 1 because your Essence was lowered, and one from the wound.

Simply said, divide your Magic loss by two and round down. The result is
the number of geasa you have to take.
